Countdown to Apocalypse

The American military helicopters touched down at one end of the encampment. General Ripper stepped out of the idling chopper and walked towards the looming structure in the distance. Behind him, soldiers and scientists began rapidly adding to the small village of tents already present. One of the arctic researchers already on-scene ran up to the general, closely followed by the UN team commander.

"Excuse me," asked the researcher, "What's going on here?"

"The cavalry has arrived," the general said matter-of-factly while lighting his cigar. "I've come to take charge of this situation."

"You've got no right!" complained the UN representative. "Antarctica is international territory and this complex is an unprecedented discovery. You have no authority here."

"We've got authority everywhere," he said taking a drag from the cigar. "We're the US f***ing Army."

This PolyCon, get away from that table and roleplay the right way. In Live-Action Roleplaying (LARP) you walk, talk and act like your character for the entire gaming session.

This year, in keeping with the convention theme of the Apocalypse, the con LARP tackles many possible ways in which the world as we know it could very well come to an end. YOU will play one of the numerous scientists and soldiers that have descended on a mysterious complex that rose out of Antarctic ice and snow. YOU will have a secret agenda. YOU will be trapped inside the mysterious complex that controls the destiny of mankind - or perhaps the entire universe!

Don't let the Apocalypse just pass you by. Take an active role in the End Times. Join the PolyCon XVII Live-Action Event.
