PolyCon XIX: A Gaming Odyssey |

Greeting and Salutations! It is my honor to report to you that PolyCon XVIII was an outrageous success. We broke all previous attendance records and we ran more games for our attendees than any other PolyCon in our 18-year tradition. We are very proud of our convention and we want to see it grow to new heights each year in both attendance and notoriety. The PolyCon Committee is already working towards breaking our new record with PolyCon XVIII. As the premier gaming convention of California's Central Coast, we are making all efforts to reach as many gamers across the state and the outlying regions as possible with our most aggressive advertising campaign ever. In addition, we are planning more events, larger tournaments, and a wider variety of activities for our attendees. The PolyCon Committee owes a great deal of the attendee satisfaction we received directly to the industry's support of our small, yet growing, convention. It is a great thrill to be able to offer prizes to those we believe contribute the most to the gaming experience with good gamesmanship, and those who have shown exceptional skill and dedication playing the games we all love so much. If there are any events you would wish us to run for your company we would be eager to comply. We have a large group of gamemasters ranging along the full spectrum of roleplaying games, wargames, boardgames, cardgames and miniatures games. All are eager to give something back to the companies who have provided them with many countless adventures and fun-filled gatherings. Also, we would be most happy to display and distribute any promotional materials for new games, catalogs, posters, or flyers as a courtesy to your company. The PolyCon Committee would appreciate any support you would be willing to lend either through product donations, tournament prizes, collectable items, or purchasing advertising in our convention book. Also, there is traditionally an auction on the last day of the convention to raise operating funds for the next year's convention. Any donations of gaming memorabilia, out of print games, or collectibles would be most gratefully appreciated. This year we are proud to announce the return of our seminars. Seminars will last approximately one hour. Topics should be related in some way to gaming or the industry and allow time for questions. If you would like your seminar to be included in the convention booklet, please send us a brief description of the seminar and the speaker by April 15. If your seminar requires any special audiovisual equipment, be sure to let us know when you send us the information. All seminar participants will receive a refund of $10 per seminar up to their registration fee, provided they register the seminar by April 15. Finally, we are happy to invite any members of the Gaming Industry who would like to attend PolyCon XVII to come and share the experience with us. Inside this packet you will find a slip redeemable for one free entrance to the PolyCon convention as well as a price sheet for our convention booklet. If you wish to purchase a dealer room from us, $80 will get you a 13x13 room for the weekend; we can furnish the room with tables if you wish. Sleeping rooms for PolyCon are $38 for single and $50 for double occupancy per night.
