The place: The island of Ceylon
You are staying at the Hotel de Trinity, the finest hotel on the island. Raging outside is one of the worst storms the locals have seen in many, many years, especially considering that the storm season is months away.
The recent announcement of a discovery of great archaeological significance has drawn you to this place. An idol has been found, buried in caves deep beneath the city, that is causing quite a stir in learned circles. What could it symbolize? How old is it? What is it for? These questions and others are being bandied about by scientists, newspapers and the religious communities.
This is the scene for PolyCon XV's next Live Action Role-Playing Game (LARP). You take the part of someone at the hotel. An archaeologist, a newspaper reporter, or perhaps someone more sinister. No matter what character you play, you'll have the chance to interact with others as you never have before in a table top game.
