Flea Market The Flea Market will be held for two hours on Saturday afternoon. Each numbered placard allows you a 6'x6' space for your goods. Bring your own tables, blankets, or displays for your market space. The PolyCon staff reserves the right to clear "alleyways" to allow access. Each placard costs $5.00. You may start registering your wares at the back patio one hour before the Flea Market opens. You may purchase multiple spaces, if they are available, at a cost of $5.00 each. You will be handed a placard for each space you purchase. Your placard must be displayed at the front of your space. No prior set up. The flea market may not be set up until one hour before the Flea Market is open. Please use good taste. Only games, game related items, comic books, fantasy items, etc., can be sold at the market. No weapons or replicated weapons may be sold at the market. If you are found to be selling strictly new and/or shrink-wrapped items (over 25% of you wares), you will be classified as a dealer and you may be removed from the convention. ANY disputes about space, participants, dealer status, and/or wares must be brought to the attention of a PolyCon Staff member. All judgments of disputes will be the decision of the PolyCon staff, and their judgments will be final. The Flea Market Coordinator will be Joe Parzanese. BBQ PolyCon's afternoon barbecue is back by popular demand and will be held on Saturday after the Flea Market. Hot dogs, and hamburgers, and veggie kabobs will be provided. Other cuts of meat will not be turned away. Watch Dave Martin and Victor Esposito show off their amazing barbecuing ability.       The BBQ is an excellent way to obtain sustenance, take a much needed break and/or shoot the breeze with fascinating and intelligent like-minded gamers. If your family is in town, we highly encourage you to have them show up and join in on the fun. Topics of conversation extra. Auction Once again, PolyCon will hold our last day game auction. The auction will occur at 2 pm on Sunday. In addition to our auction items, you may consign your own merchandise subject to the following rules: 1. We cannot guarantee sale. If your item does not sell, we will not refund the consignment fee. 2. A $0.50 consignment fee will be charged per lot for all lots brought to the auction. Again, this fee is nonrefundable. 3. Items will be accepted up to an hour before the auction. 4. You must fill out an auction lot form including information such as your name, condition of the item, and minimum bid, for each lot put into the auction. 5. The auction is cash only - no credit cards or personal checks. Cash is defined as United States dollars, unless the auctioneers say otherwise. 7. Caveat emptor (Buyer beware). All items sold as is. 8. Bids will be in dollar increments unless announced otherwise by the auctioneers. 9. Announce your bid loud and clear while raising your hand. Try as they might the auctioneers cannot see everything. The more obvious you are in bidding the more likely they'll acknowledge your bid. Your auctioneers will be Eric M. Aldrich I and Jef Watts
