Registration Pre registration is closed! But you can still register for the convention upon your arrival. The price for a badge will be $35 at the door, $20 for a single day pass. Gamemasters and Volunteers Twelve hours of volunteer time in such duties as front desk, hospitality, etc. gets you a badge to the convention. Additionally if you GM one four hour game, you get $10 refunded from your registration price. GM eight hours of games, get a $20 refund of your registration. GM 12 hours of games, receive a badge to the convention. You may combine volunteer time (desk shifts) with GM time, thus you may work the front desk for 4 hours and run 8 hours of games and thus qualify for a full refund of your admission fee. Two hour games are worth a $5 refund to the convention. There are no two hour volunteer shifts. Contact PolyCon if you are interested in being staff or GM'ing any event. You must register still for PolyCon and after running your events and / or working your volunteer shifts, on Sunday morning you will receive your refunds prior to the auction. Hotel Reservation Please realize that San Luis Obispo is a summer resort town that fills every summer. Therefore, reserve NOW, rooms are at a premium and rates are only going to get harder to find and prices higher if you wait. CONVENTION HOTEL Embassy Suites Hotel 333 Madonna Rd, San Luis Obispo, CA FEATURES: a fantastic free breakfast buffet and happy hour ordurves and drinks. We do have a room block set-up for Polycon at $219. Each guest will just need to mention their dates of check-in and that they are with Polycon. If you are booking your reservation on-line, they will just need to type in XPI under the group or convention code.
